The Company is a power plant operator in Thailand, with the largest waste-to-energy power plant operations in the country in terms of installed waste-to-energy power generation capacity, according to AWR Lloyd. As of September 30, 2017, the Company had installed waste-to-energy power generation capacity of 80MW in operation, consisting of RDFPP-20MW and RDFPP-60MW. In addition, the Company had an installed waste-heat recovery power generation capacity of 70MW in operation, consisting of WHPP-40MW and WHPP 30MW). Therefore, the Company had a total installed power generation capacity of 150 MW in operation.
The Company’s power offtakers are the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (“EGAT”) and the Company’s parent, TPI Polene Public Company Limited (“TPIPL”), a listed company principally engaged in the business of manufacturing and selling cement, low-density polyethylene (LDPE)/ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) plastic resin and construction materials.
On September 30, 2017, the Company has four power plants in operation with total power generation capacity of 150MW, all of which are located in the same vicinity as TPIPL’s cement production plants in Kangkhoy, Saraburi Province in Thailand
In addition, the Company is in process of constructing three power plants with total installed capacity of 290MW. These include a 70MW RDF-fired power plant, a 150MW coal-fired power plant and a 70MW coal-RDF fired power plant.
